Enviornment Satellite navigations

IPS is a page from the australian goverment. It has its central offices in Sydney. It was set up by the federal goverment in 1947 within the department of interior.

IPS manages and extensive network of observations hosting magnetometers, ionosondes and other sensors around the Australia, New zealand region and Antartica. Observations are combined with data from satellites and other countries observations to monitor space weather and provide services and advice on space weather conditions for radio communications, sattelite navigation and other operations.
